My experience with the ASE Coaching Program was very positive. People often talk about software engineering topics like Test-Driven Development, Clean Code, design and architecture patterns, etc., but they don’t really get the chance to put them into practice. Within the framework of the coaching program, a software engineer finally has the opportunity not only to deepen these topics but also to implement them themselves. It’s an absolutely professional hands-on experience that every software engineer should make time for to significantly improve the quality of their work. Even after the first stage of the program, you realize how vast and important the world of software quality is and what the impact is of not fully exploring it.
Which things specifically improved, maybe with percentage?
Through this coaching, the quality of my software solutions has significantly improved. The time investment is invaluable, not just for me as a software engineer but also for the company where I get to deploy my solutions. How can you tell that the quality has increased? It’s simple: the number of bugs after deployment has decreased by around 90%. This ensures that you can spend much more time on innovation later and waste far less time on bug fixing.
How good are we and would you recommend us?
Damir, Christian, and Martin are professionals, and you can feel that from day one. After four years of coaching in the software engineering field (having completed the Practitioner Level), I can only recommend taking on the ASE Coaching Program. Never stop learning.
